This year LSC is conducting the program at 8 elementary/middle schools and are using 4 high schools and Florida Institute of Technology girls to do the hands on STEM activities with the younger girls.
LSC has also partnered with FIT’s Ocean Engineering Department and they will be bringing their mobile science laboratory to each of the 8 schools for lessons in local and global ocean topics. LSC is also working with the Astronaut Memorial Foundation in order to add some coding activities to the program.
